A BIG thank you to our warehouse team, Donny and Ryan, who make it possible for our school cafes to serve students fresh, local and great tasting produce and bread. This week, schools are receiving organic watermelons grown in Brentwood at Dwelley Family Farms. In addition, students at 10 participating schools are also helping shuck local bi-color corn grown in Byron at Simoni and Massoni Farms. Once shucked, our kitchen teams will clean, cook and serve the corn to all students with lunch this week! Thank you again to our warehouse and food services teams for making this possible. #WeareBUSD
