Brentwood Union School District is grateful to our neighbors at Burlington for their generous $5,000 donation to Brentwood Elementary School through AdoptAClassroom.org. This contribution will directly support student learning and help enhance educational opportunities for all students.
At the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Burlington store, Brentwood Elementary’s student leadership team proudly represented the school and welcomed shoppers to the celebration.
We appreciate Burlington’s continued commitment to supporting our schools and community. #WeareBUSD

Congratulations to our Special Educators of the Month: Lama Othman at Krey Elementary, Noella Nkiamene at Brentwood Elementary, Amanda Joseph at Mary Casey Black, and Juli Pattee from the Special Education Department! What an amazing group! #WeareBUSD

Whether on campus or in the community, seeing Mr. Nunn was always a memorable part of the day for students and staff. His impact on our schools and our city will not be forgotten.
This week, flags will be flown at half-mast in his honor. ❤️💙

Our ongoing work with Brigaid continues to strengthen the quality of meals we serve to students every day. This week, we had the pleasure of working with Chef Bernard, an experienced chef brought in by Brigaid, who spent time training and collaborating with our talented cook/bakers from all 12 school sites.
Chef Bernard shared his culinary expertise, helping to refine skills, inspire creativity, and support our mission of serving fresh, delicious meals made with care. We’re proud of our team and grateful for partners who help us keep raising the bar! #WeAreBUSD
