The gymnasium was filled with students and families last night at Heritage High School's area festival. It was heartening to see strong participation from Bristow Middle School and Adams Middle School. The love for the arts is thriving in BUSD, and we are incredibly grateful to Mr. Fallon and Mr. Morello for their efforts in nurturing this passion! #WeAreBUSD

The Brentwood Police Department is excited to announce a third Town Hall Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, October 17th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brentwood Community Center, located at 35 Oak Street. Join us for an informative evening with Sergeant Brouillette and other members of the Brentwood Police Department. The focus of this Town Hall will be on critical incidents at schools, providing insight into how such situations are managed and resolved. We encourage all community members to attend and engage in this important discussion. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of your police department and the decision-making processes during critical incidents. We look forward to seeing you there and strengthening our community ties.

A BIG thank you to our warehouse team, Donny and Ryan, who make it possible for our school cafes to serve students fresh, local and great tasting produce and bread. This week, schools are receiving organic watermelons grown in Brentwood at Dwelley Family Farms. In addition, students at 10 participating schools are also helping shuck local bi-color corn grown in Byron at Simoni and Massoni Farms. Once shucked, our kitchen teams will clean, cook and serve the corn to all students with lunch this week! Thank you again to our warehouse and food services teams for making this possible. #WeareBUSD
