2025/2026 Intradistrict Transfers Requests

Intradistrict Transfer Requests for the 25.26 school year is only open to the following:

  • New enrollment

  • Change of address within 5 days

    • change of address completed at the current school site for BUSD attendance boundaries

    • address requirement

Digital Transfer Request Form is available at the boundary school site.

2026/2027 Intradistrict Transfers Requests

OPEN ENROLLMENT INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS PERIOD 1 January 7th through March 1st - CLOSED

*Notifcations for Period 1 were sent April 1st

OPEN ENROLLMENT INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS PERIOD 2 March 2nd through May 1st - CLOSED

*Notifications for Period 2 will be sent June 1st


  • PLEASE NOTE:

  • For the 2026–2027 school year, all schools will be open for Intradistrict transfer requests. All requests will be evaluated for approval based on capacity.

  • If you are registering a new student for the 2026–2027 school year, registration opens April 7th 2026. Once you have completed registration, you may submit an Intradistrict transfer request. Please ask the school site for information. Requests may not be submitted prior to registration.

New 2026/2027 Kindergarten Enrollees

  • New Kindergarten Enrollees before March 15th who submit an Intradistrict transfer within 5 days of enrollment and before March 13th will be notified by April 15th.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees between March 2nd and May 1st

  • New enrollees between March 2nd and May 1st who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of enrollment will be notified by June 1st.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees between May 2nd and the end of the current school year.

  • New enrollees between May 2nd and the end of the current school year who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of the enrollment will be notified by June 15th.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees after the end of the current school year.

  • New enrollees after the end of the current school year who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of enrollment will be notified within 5 days of receipt of request.
