Brentwood Union School District is proud to partner with St. Mary's College to offer a teacher residency program for employees and community members seeking to earn their Bachelor's degree, Multiple Subject Credential, and Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential.

Multiple Subject Credential

Special Education (SpEd) Credential

  • 1 year program through St. Mary's College

  • Open to current classified employees

  • Tuition assistance/scholarship opportunities

  • Mild/Moderate SpEd Credential with ability to also earn your Bachelor's degree

  • All coursework takes place in Brentwood-no need to drive to Moraga

  • Tuition assistance/scholarship opportunities

  • Co-teaching 3 days a week with a BUSD mentor

  • All coursework takes place in Brentwood-no need to drive to Moraga

  • Sub-teaching 2 days a week

  • Work as a SpEd Aide while completing student teaching
