Our Making Slime event was a fun, slimy good time! Students learned how to make slime and the science behind it.
Yesterday is Art, students learned about the Abstract Art movement and artist Piet Mondrian. They created their own piece in his style, focusing on line, color, and simplified shape.
Skein Squad was working hard on their craft. Great job everyone!

This year, HGVA’s leadership has been incredibly busy and instrumental in bringing joy, creativity, and a true sense of community. We are deeply grateful for their hard work, dedication, and participation.
Our students had an amazing time exploring hands-on sensory activities this week! From molding bright Play-Doh creations to digging into colorful sensory bins and building imaginative scenes with kinetic sand, the room was filled with curiosity, creativity, and lots of smiles.
It’s always wonderful to see kids experimenting, collaborating, and learning through play. Activities like these help build fine-motor skills, encourage problem-solving, and spark imagination — and they had a blast doing it!

We had a fantastic time at the HGVA Holiday Hangout & Market today! Students ran their own booths with homemade goods and gently used toys, all purchased with Hedgehog Bucks. Add in crafts, games, pizza, and Home Alone, and it was the perfect festive day! 🎄🍕🦔

Yesterday, we held a spirited flag football game with our students. Despite the chilly weather, our kids showed up ready for fun.

What an awesome crew for our last soccer class of the season! We’ll kick things off again in March when the sun comes back to warm us up. Until then—keep practicing, keep playing, and keep being amazing!
Our elementary school students gathered today for a fun winter get-together. They played exciting games, laughed with friends, and enjoyed quality time with their teachers.
The cold air didn’t stop Harvest Grove students from showing up to Movement Mondays for a friendly—yet competitive—game of Capture the Flag. We’ve got some seriously athletic students in our school. Go get ’em, Hedgehogs!
Our young athletes brought the energy, teamwork, and big smiles to today’s soccer session. From dribbling drills to mini scrimmages, everyone gave it their all — and had a blast doing it! 🌟
