First grade "Let It Snow" performance for the families was a hit! Thank you to the 1st grade staff for putting in the time and energy into making it fabulous!


Parents Club hosted a very fun and successful Winterfest '25 last Friday. There were crafts, activities, music, and so many prizes! Thank you to all of the volunteers who organized it and came to help it run smoothly.



Crosby Marchal performed his duties as "Principal for the Day." He did a great job running things, and especially enjoyed visiting with his former (and current) teachers.

On Tues. 11/18/25, our whole school participated in a Kids Against Hunger food packing event. KAH is a nonprofit organization whose mission is shared with us to help reduce the number of hungry children in the U.S. and to feed starving children throughout the world.


Today, our 3rd graders honored our nation’s heroes with their Patriotic Performance. They paid tribute to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
As we approach Veterans Day, we thank all Veterans for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Our school came together to celebrate Día de los Muertos, a beautiful tradition honoring the lives of family and friends who have passed. Students and staff shared photos, stories, and memories of loved ones, filling our ofrenda with color, love, and remembrance.

TK students in Mrs. Hernandez's class proudly display a diya and learn about Diwali with BES instructional aide, Mrs. Gayatri Urkude.
Diyas are oil lamps traditionally lit during Diwali to symbolize the victory of light over darkness & to welcome prosperity and positivity.

Today was our Annual "Kindergarten Catwalk" - a fashion show displaying homemade paper bag clothes that highlight the letters of the alphabet. It was a "must see" event! Many thanks to our amazing Kindergarten team for organizing this fun event for children and their families.

Brentwood El Parents Club is out here celebrating not only the last day of school before break, but also our top earning classes for our recent "Change Wars" fundraiser, with an Ice Cream Sundae bar!

Brentwood El staff is so grateful for Susan Wallace. She is a former Bulldog parent who volunteers her time to water and care for our potted plants. The staff got her a watering tank to make it easier.

In remembrance of 9/11, Mrs. Celli’s and Ms. Williams’ classes wrote heartfelt thank-you cards to first responders, showing appreciation for their bravery and service. ❤️🇺🇸

Several classrooms had a blast today at our Corn Shucking event 🌽 at Brentwood El! A big thank you to Simoni and Massoni Farm for providing the delicious, sweet, local corn. 🍯🌽 Nothing like farm-fresh fun and tasty learning!




🎶 Mrs. Nardone’s class had a blast today using the brand-new drums in Ms. Souza’s music class! 🥁 The students loved making music together and exploring new rhythms.

Thanks to our neighbors @Burlington for their $5K donation to our school through @Adopt_classroom to help further our students' education! #BurlingtonEmpowersStudent. Student leadership represented well & welcomed shoppers at the ribbon cutting ceremony.



Brentwood El finished up the annual "Great Kindess Challenge" last week. Students and staff focused on acts of kindness and the importance of treating each other with respect.
