
Today, our former Brentwood Bulldogs, now high school seniors, returned for a special “Clap Out” in their honor. They had the chance to walk the halls one more time, reconnect with their former teachers and staff, and reflect on where their journey began. Time sure does fly...

Brentwood Elementary celebrated its centenniel celebration tonight - 100 years of education! Staff alumni gathered together with current staff to laugh and reminsce. Thank you to all who came!











Brentwood El third graders learn about our community’s history from Joe Darr, an archeologist from the East Contra Costa Historical Society. The students will get to dig in middens boxes and learn how artifacts found can tell about the past.


Friday night fun at the Brentwood El carnival!




Second grade students had a visit from Big Break. They had the opportunity to learn about the different creatures that live in the water there and see them up close. They also enjoyed playing a game to help them understand the struggle that salmon have to go through to survive.





Bulldogs Got Talent! Talent Show 2025! What an entertaining night!





Nice turnout for the Spring band concert at Brentwood El. They performed 11 songs together, featuring several solists. A big thank you to Ms. Werner for directing band this year and putting on this concert.




A big thank you to the Brentwood El Parents Club for kicking off Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week with Java & Pastries! This week’s theme is “Decades of Dedication”—and today, we traveled back 100 years with a vintage flapper vibe to get things started in style!


Brentwood El band rocking it at Bandapalooza 2025! They were joined by the bands from Garin El., Mary Casey Black El., and Edna Hill MS. Thank you Ms. Breintenbucher, director of the bands at EHMS, for hosting this wonderful night of music.

Congratulations to Brentwood El 5th grader Sophia Vega. Her art piece, titled Butterfly, earned her a 3rd place finish among all BUSD 5th graders at the 23rd annual Student Art Show.

Brentwood El's Fun Run 2025 is underway. Thank you to Parents Club and thank you to Joe Zanotto (MC extraordinaire) for always putting on a fabulous event.





Parent volunteer, and Deputy Sheriff Jessica Ignont, teaching lessons about the impact of bullying to our 4th and 5th grade classes. We are fortunate to have community partners helping to keep our students safe.
