On April 28th, the Brentwood Union School District held a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of their 13th school and newest elementary school campus. School Board President Stephanie Williams-Rogers thanked the community for their support of Measure B and shared how excited the Board was to open a brand-new beautiful school in the fall of 2024. Superintendent Dana Eaton shared that the Board will be soon undergoing a naming process and hiring a principal to prepare for the opening. Board Clerk Thuy Dao-Jensen and Board Members Scott Dudek, Steve Gursky and Emil Geddes joined Williams-Rogers and Eaton for a ceremonial photo as community leaders looked on. The school is located south of Lone Tree and east of O'Hara and is being built by C. Overaa Construction.
