We cannot believe it is already time to start planning our farewell to our fifth graders!!
Kickball Game: June 3rd
Parents are welcome to come watch the epic battle that is the STAFF VS 5th GRADE KICKBALL GAME. The game will run from 8:45-10:30 am on the blacktop. Feel free to come through the office to check in and we will send you on through to cheer on your student.
Promotion Festivities: June 5th
We will be holding our version of a promotion ceremony on the last day of school, June 5th. We call it a "Clap Out." Students will be singing their final musical for their families, and receiving their certificate starting promptly at 8:45am in the MPR. At the end, families will be invited outside to line up with the ENTIRE student population to clap our fifth graders out of elementary school. A few important points:
- NO BALLOONS PLEASE. Per our handbook, balloons are not allowed on campus at any time. In this case, it is a full-house and they block people's view. Flowers, leis, signs, and all other celebratory items are more than welcome!
-Families are welcome, but please be considerate of space. We ask you try to limit your spectators to around five per student so we can fit everyone safely.
-You are welcome to take your student home after the festivities, but you MUST sign out through the office or with your student's teacher before departing. Please be sure to take all your child's belongings with you.
-Supplies left in classrooms will be donated or discarded. Please take everything home!
