Dear Loma Vista Families,

One of our goals this year is to help every Leopard develop work ethic, responsibility, and accountability one day at a time.

Our August Leopard Way focus is We Belong. When every child is here, our classrooms are stronger, our community is more connected, and students have the opportunity to experience the magic of learning together.

🌟 Introducing Our Leopard Leader Attendance Tracker

This month, your child is bringing home their very first Leopard Leader Attendance Tracker

The tracker is a fun way to help students begin building responsibility for their attendance while practicing calendar skills and celebrating each day they come to school.

For August, we invite families to complete the tracker together at home. At the end of the month, please return it to Ms. Kate by September 3.

🎉 Every student who returns a completed tracker will be entered into our monthly prize drawing! This month, we're celebrating participation as we learn this new routine together.

💜 Family Tip: Spend one minute each afternoon completing the tracker together. Ask your child: "What was the best part of your day?" Those small daily conversations help children build responsibility, accountability, and pride in showing up each day.

🏆 Attendance Incentive Programs

We believe hard work deserves to be celebrated! Throughout the year, students and classes will have opportunities to earn recognition for building strong attendance habits.

• 🍕Monthly Attendance Drawing: Students who maintain 97% attendance or higher each month will be entered into a random drawing to enjoy Pizza or Donuts with Ms. Kate!

• 🎉 Party with the Principals: Each month, the classroom with the highest attendance percentage will celebrate with a special Party with the Principals!

• ⭐ Quarterly Attendance Awards: Students who maintain 97% attendance or higher throughout the quarter will be recognized for their outstanding commitment to being at school.
