MENA-SWANA Heritage Month
We are delighted to share that May is Community Celebrations—Asian American Pacific Islander Month. This month, students will learn about the contributions and cultures of various groups within the broader Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
BUSD Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to share with you that we will be continuing our Community Celebration lessons during this school year. We want you to know that we have posted all lessons on our BUSD website. We have also included a FAQ document to explain the ‘why’ behind these lessons and answer some of the questions we have received. Please know that we continue to work on these lessons in order to fine-tune them and make sure they communicate our focus on inclusion and the contributions from members of the communities represented in these lessons.
