Parent Volunteers Needed for PE Locker Distribution
Dear Adams Middle School Families,
I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the school year!
As we launch our Physical Education program, we have an important milestone for our students—especially our incoming sixth graders: learning how to use their PE locker combination locks.
For many students, this is their very first experience using a combination lock. Remembering "right, left, right" while trying to change for class can be challenging, and the locker room gets busy quickly!
To help make this transition as smooth, stress-free, and positive as possible, we are looking for parent volunteers to assist during the first week of school as students receive their PE locks and lockers.
How You Can Help
🔒 Lock Instructors
Work one-on-one or with small groups of students.
Patiently guide students through the combination process until they successfully open their locks.
🏃 Gym Monitors
Help maintain a calm, organized locker room environment while PE teachers assign locks and lockers and enter student information.
