Each month, classrooms compete to earn the highest attendance. Friendly competition encourages teamwork while celebrating the importance of showing up every day. Winners receive a Party with the Principals.
Showing up Opens the Door To Learning
Every day at school is an opportunity to learn, build friendships, and grow. At Loma Vista, we work together with families to help every Leopard develop strong attendance habits that support success in school and beyond.
Excusing Absences:
Absences must be excused within 48 hours. Excuse absences by completing one of the following:

Track your student’s attendance using your AERIES Parent Portal.

Site Based Independent Study
Sometimes, absences are unavoidable. If your child needs to miss school, we can help set up an Independent Study Contract to make sure they don’t fall behind. Just call our office in advance, and we’ll walk you through the quick and easy steps!

⭐ Quarterly Attendance Recognition
We celebrate attendance quarterly for all students who maintain 97 % attendance over the quarter. Students will receive a certificate to take home.

Students who demonstrate 97% attendance for the month will automatically be entered in a drawing to win Pizza or a donut with Ms. Kate! This special celebration recognizes students for building positive attendance habits and making school a priority.
