* 2013-2014 only - Children turning 5 between September 1 and October 1, 2013 are encouraged to enroll in TK, but under the law are also eligible for traditional kindergarten

Directions to our Schools

The Brentwood Union School District serves Kindergarten through 8th grade students with an enrollment of approximately 8500 students. Presently there are seven K-5 elementary campuses and three 6-8 middle schools. Parents, staff and the community provide solid support to the healthy educational environment of children.

Another helpful site is the Ed-Data that will help you find answers to frequently asked questions about the finances, demographics and performance of California's K-12 schools.

The Brentwood Union School District operates on a modified traditional school calendar. Classes usually begin in late July with a 10 day break in October and another 10 day break in March. These breaks are in addition to the traditional holidays which include a two week winter break. Summer break is approximately eight weeks beginning with the second week in June. Each school has its own individual bell schedule and breakfast / lunch menu.
