Community Day School

Contra Costa County Office of Education operates a Community Day School that serves fifth through eighth grade students in the Brentwood, Byron, Knightsen and Oakley School Districts. Students attending this program have been administratively placed from districts, expelled, or placed in the program by the School Attendance Review Board. This program is housed at the Liberty Alternative Education Center in Brentwood. Students are in academic classes four hours daily and are monitored by a Probation Officer to ensure attendance.
