Inclusion

What is the LRE (Least Restrictive Environment)?

Here are some resources to help parents, general education teachers, special education teachers, and school administrators increase the amount of time students with exceptionalities are included with their typically developing peers.

Please remember that the timing and amount of time students are included in general education classes is an IEP team decision and that the general education classroom is not always the Least Restrictive Environment for all students.
